On October 3, I called for tougher action to curb gun violence in Calgary.

On September 30, I successfully brought forward a Resolution to City Council that took a strong stance against Quebec’s controversial Bill 21.

As we wait for the Federal Government and Canada Mortgage & Housing Corporation to assess changes to the B-20 Mortgage Stress Test, our Provincial Government can immediately allow for a made in Alberta solution in allowing Albertan credit unions to write mortgages based on local and regional conditions.

On September 24 I had the pleasure of hosting Ward 5's first Sports Council at the Calgary North Soccer Centre. A huge thank you to all of the organizations and representatives who attended that helped make this event such a success and to Lance Humeniuk for accommodating us at this beautiful facility.

The events around September 19 shed some light on incidents surrounding Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Thank you to the Falconridge/Castleridge Community Association and Saddle Ridge Community Association for organizing their annual Community Clean ups and to all the volunteers who helped clean up their communities.

So happy to see the smiles on kids faces at the Grand Opening of our new Northeast Calgary Skatepark at the Genesis Centre.

The Townhall on Public Safety & Community Violence on July 23 was a great success as we had a turnout of over 200 people!
